Noise Impact Assessment at Pond Industrial Estate, Bathgate

Client: Scotwaste Recycling Ltd

RMP undertook the Noise Impact Assessment for the development of the Waste Transfer and Treatment facility located at Pond Land Industrial Estate in Bathgate. The client proposed to reconfigure the existing recycling facility to include new workshops and waste transfer buildings, with increased hours of operations.

RMP consultants conducted a survey of the existing background daytime and night-time noise environment at the closest noise sensitive receptors as well as a noise survey of the existing recycling plant operations during the daytime.

Predictions have been made of the noise impact of the activity in accordance with the procedures set out in BS 4142:2014.
