The Allermuir Health Centre is one of three partnership centres that make up a £27.6 million programme in partnership with Hub South East and on behalf of NHS Lothian and its councils.
The £7.3 million Centre will provide a range of health and social care services, including GP accommodation for two existing GP practices and a range of primary care services including children’s services and mental health support. The various departments overlook a landscaped courtyard while all waiting areas overlook the central atrium space maximising natural light.
RMP were commissioned to provide a full range of acoustic consultancy services including design advice and ensuring that a suitable environment is created in terms of ambient noise levels (internal and external), sound insulation and reverberation, all in accordance with the NHS requirements of SHTM06-01.
