We were instructed by Babcock International Group, Rosyth to carry out a Noise Impact Assessment as part of the planning submission for a new ‘Build Hall’ for Babcock’s Type 31 Programme for the delivery of the five General Purpose Type 31 Frigates for the Royal Navy.
The noise impact assessment of the 147m x 62m x 42m Assembly Hall was undertaken in accordance with BS 4142: 2014 “Method for rating industrial noise affecting mixed residential and industrial areas” with the objective of determining the potential for noise impact of the proposed facility on surrounding noise-sensitive receptors.
